OUR MISSION
"To amplify and recognize Black, Asian, Latino, Middle Eastern, and other ethnic group filmmakers in Ireland and internationally to boldly celebrate their heritage and cultural differences"
"To provide a platform where the diverse stories of people of colour are showcased in their pride and uniqueness"
Chroma International Film Festival (Chroma IFF) is a festival dedicated to celebrate and amplify the voices of both emerging and established filmmakers from diverse backgrounds in the film industry in Ireland.
Founded in 2021, Chroma IFF is the first and only festival in Ireland and Northern Ireland showcasing the outstanding and creative works of emerging and established BIPOC/BAME filmmakers by focusing on the varied perspectives and realities of people of colour and bringing their stories to a wider audience.
The Chroma community consists of hundreds of filmmakers from around the world, with festival affiliates from Canada, the United Kingdom, China, South Africa, Brazil, and Ireland.
